Do they really imagine that a disorganized assemblage of white trash armed with sidearms could fend off a real military unit even once? Are such people ready and willing to be tortured to death in silence, or to watch it happen, again in silence, to those near and dear to them? For years?
Somehow, I don't think so. Typically, guerrillas lose 20-50 people for each regular military person they kill, which is unacceptable losses for any but the most fanatical. Worse yet, I can think of exactly one time in history when guerrillas won unaided. The other times, they've lost horribly. Who's going to come in and help people in Montana or Idaho?
